Rice Cookie's Roles & Values
The Rice Cookie community aims for inclusivness and creating a welcoming space. This is for us a precondition when wanting to play improv together. To achieve this, we have created some ground rules which participants, moderators and admins are expected to follow.
Participant
A participant takes part in Rice Cookies events. A participant is expected to sign up for the workshop and pay the respective participation fee. A participant is expected to be respectful with other players and respect each others boundries.
Moderator
A moderator moderate sessions. The moderator has the responsibility of the room, attendance tracking, and collecting the participation fee. The moderator upholds the
Rice Cookie values of openness, inclusivity, fairness, and non-judgement.
Admin
An admin wants to actively contribute effort and time towards running Rice Cookies smoothly. In return an admin, jointly with the admin team, takes part in decision-making in the intrests of Rice Cookies. Admins step in whenever necessary to resolve issues, and discuss important topics for the community. An admin upholds the Rice Cookie values of openness, inclusivity, fairness, and non-judgement.

Participant
Just register on our Meet Up Events and get yourself on the going list - you are very welcome to join us!
Moderator
A moderator:
- Must understand and follow his or her responsibilities as a moderator.
- Must be part of Rice Cookie for 3+ months, counted from the first attendance of any session.
- Must have attended 6+ times in the last 6 months.
- Must be supported by another moderator for his or her first moderation.
- Must have moderated at least once in the last 6 months, unless it is his or her first moderation.
- Must have liability insurance
Admin
An Admin
- Must understand and follow his or her responsibilities as an admin.
- Must be part of Rice Cookie for 12+ months, counted from the first attendance of any session.
- Must have attended 9+ times in the last 6 months.
- Must attend the monthly admin meetings regularly. This is defined as not missing more than 1 meeting out of the last 6.
- Must be approved in a vote by current admins upon first becoming an admin.
